"Having just held our national conference at the Redwood Hotel I’d like to let you know how impressed we were with the hotel facilities and service. The Styx Room was an ideal size for us. It was warm and comfortable with seating and tables configured to suit our needs, and had everything we needed – projector/screen, flipchart holder, sound system etc. Various small groups used the breakout room for separate discussions during the day so it was very handy to have that extra space available.
The catering was excellent – the food was delicious, there was enough for everyone and it was served on time. The staff were very helpful and nothing was a bother. Our members who stayed overnight were also very pleased with their rooms.
I’d like to thank Catherine for all her help in organising this for us – it was all done very efficiently and any questions I had were answered quickly. In view of the overwhelmingly positive feedback from our committee and members, we would certainly want to come back again next time we hold our conference in Christchurch."
